Annesa, the driving force behind KTMA Yoga, has dedicated her life to helping others heal, grow, and thrive through yoga. With an academic background in Women’s Studies and Dance, she combines her expertise in anatomy, kinesiology, and mindfulness to create classes that resonate deeply with her students.

Her impressive career includes corporate accounts with Dominion Power, NEXCOM, and The Virginia Living Museum, as well as training sessions with the US Olympic Field Hockey Team.

Training Highlights:

  • Active volunteer with Recovery Dharma, hosting yoga sessions as acts of service and gratitude.
  • Extensive global training, with her favorite retreats held at Blue Spirit in Costa Rica.
  • Mentorship under yoga luminaries such as Seane Corn, Ram Dass, and Pema Chödrön.
